Welder/Fabricator Position overview The primary duties of this position include but are not limited to TIG welding, fabricating mostly stainless steel, being able to read drawings and assemble varies projects. We take pride in being able to maintain production standards and producing consistent high-quality product. This position will also require working and coordinating with a team across the shop to help with completion of large multi-stage jobs.
Essential job requirements Punctuality is our first and most important requirement. For our entire team to be productive, effective, and efficient we need everyone to show up on time every day. -Knowledgeable polishing experience/use of various power tools. -TIG welding experience (specifically with stainless steel) -Reading drawings and specifications -Being able to work independently and efficiently (after training) -Basic math skills, ability to read a tape measure -Ability to lift at least 50lbs -Flexible schedule
Duties to include Preparation of materials for welding S/S: cutting, polishing, etc. -Fabricating/welding various projects (i.e. cabinets, duct work, sinks, tables, stock items, custom orders, etc.) -Knowledgeable use of a grinder/cutting wheel -Working outside of the shop welding/polishing at various job sites
Compensation -Competitive hourly wage based on Experience and Qualifications -Medical, 401k, holiday/vacation pay, bonuses
Hours of operation are from 6:00am – 2:30pm with optional and sometimes mandatory overtime.
Pay will be negotiated upon interview depending on knowledge and skill set.
